In winter, the Northern Lights are a great experience. The cabin, which is located on an open and sunny plot, 50 m from the fjord, was built in 1979 and renovated in 2020. New kitchen 2025. It now appears as a pleasant holiday cabin with a good standard and modern bathroom with underfloor heating. 2 bedrooms in the cottage with double beds. In the winter-insulated annex there is a double bed. In the living room there is a wood burning stove with glass door that provides comfortable heat on cold days. Flat screen TV with large screen / Satellite with many TV channels. Free broadband / internet with large capacity. In the yard by the cottage is a winter-insulated annex with a double bed and wood-fired sauna for 5 pers. in separate building with dressing room / relax with sofa and chairs. In the area there is great hiking terrain for the whole family and several fish-rich lakes. Good hunting terrain with a lot of big birds in Pasvikdalen. The fjord is rich in fish and large occurrences of king crab. A 24 foot open boat with steering console, 140 hp outboard engine, sonar, gps, chart plotter, pole holders and life jackets can be rented. The boat is located at the floating pier. Filleting bench in boathouse with running water and light, freezer by the cabin. BOAT IS AVAILABLE 20.5-1.10 Great starting point for day trips by car to the mining town of Kirkenes, the old fishing village Bugøynes and King Oscar II's chapel at Grense Jakobselv. 8 km to the Russian border.
